Grade, Track & Culvert Construction

Wynyard, Saskatchewan

REMCAN was contracted to manage and build a new piece of track in the small eastern town of Wynyard, Saskatchewan – a town that first landed on the map in the early 1900s with economic growth fueled partially by the development of a Canadian Pacific Railway stop within town limits. This civil construction project included 2 miles of new grade construction, as well as new track construction and a complete culvert extension. It took 3 months from arrival on site to the final quality and safety inspection, where the new track met all regulations and was put into use with no delays.
