Progressive Aboriginal Relations

REMCAN Projects LP. (REMCAN) is proud to officially commit to the preeminent corporate social responsibility program in Canada with an exclusive focus on Aboriginal relations, Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR).

PAR is a certification program that supports progressive improvement in Aboriginal relations. The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) established the PAR program in 2001 to recognize the importance of Aboriginal participation in Canada’s economy and support corporate commitment to
working with Aboriginal people, businesses and communities.

“We are very proud to become PAR Committed,” says Jason Thomas, Chief Operating Office at REMCAN. “This pledge is our way of creating more opportunities for Aboriginal people, developing a more inclusive workforce and promoting sustainability in all the communities where we work.”

According to the CCAB, PAR Committed participation indicates REMCAN’s commitment to continual improvement in Aboriginal relations and its intention to undergo external verification of REMCAN’s performance in the future. It is also a sign to Aboriginal businesses and individuals that REMCAN is a
good business partner, an inclusive, long-term employer, and committed to the prosperity of Aboriginal communities.

REMCAN is currently hiring for various positions across Canada. If you would like to start or continue your career in the rail industry, send your resume to
